Das Material sollte möglichst stabiler und von besserer Qualität sein, als das Original, welches auch ohne die Zerstörung vorher schon gebrochen war. Der Durchmesser des Deckels beträgt 2 m und er ist in der Mitte klappbar. Die Höhe beträgt 10 cm. Die Farbe des neuen Bezugs soll dem alten nah kommen, also anthrazit.
